It is very light weight, once secured to the seat, the child is very secure in the seat as well.

My husband and I went golfing together for the first time with our 16.5 month old (he is 32 inches tall and 26 lbs) and this golf cart seat definitely helped! It kept our toddler safe and in place while we were driving around. The straps are a bit long for him, so we ended up removing the arm/shoulder pads to help make the seat have a tighter fit. He will continue to grow into the seat and we will add the arm pads back on. It seemed decent on comfort. We did all 18 holes and there are no signs of chafing or rubbing. We had to take him out and hold him once in a while to keep him happy and entertained. It worked well but wasn’t perfectly secure to the golf cart seat, so he’d shift, lean, or slide down a bit and we’d have to adjust and help him get comfortable again, but it wasn’t a huge deal. It did work well and we are happy with it overall! A big pro is how lightweight and foldable it is to pack. Also the price is way better than other options out there. We plan to use it again in the future :)

It only took me a few minutes. Even without much experience, anyone can do it effortlessly.
